Noisy Kitchen’s Gok Wan has been shortlisted in the top 10 celebrities for the 2019 British LGBT+ awards. Gok introduced a powerful Pride campaign in 2018 called the #GlobalPrideMakeover. The campaign aimed to raise awareness around the injustices LGBTQ+ folk face in countries that are not as privileged as the UK to “take part in a Pride parade, have parties and march without a fear for our lives”. Noisy Kitchen’s Fearne Cotton is bringing Happy Place to life with a very special one day event. Taking place at West London’s Sunbeam Studios, this week, Happy Place Live will will focus on the connection between health and happiness.
Wellbeing, health and happiness will be the key themes of the day, as shown through demonstrations, talks and classes. Guests can participate in a yoga class with Zephyr Wildman, a breathing class with Rebecca Dennis, smoothie making sessions, a silent disco, and much more.

Jack Saunders has been announced as the host of a new music show on BBC Radio 1. The MTV presenter will play rock and alternative music from emerging artists on Monday to Thursdays from 11pm-1am.
